Among the most beloved and appreciated spoon desserts in the world, tiramisu certainly reigns supreme — a classic that has inspired countless delicious variations, such as Tiramisù with whipped cream. Its origins are uncertain and the versions are truly many, but today we want to show you the basic recipe to prepare it.
Our traditional tiramisu includes all the classic ingredients that cannot be replaced: eggs, mascarpone, ladyfingers, and coffee. A simple recipe in both preparation and flavor, capable of winning everyone over every single time.
The secret? Achieving a mascarpone cream that is thick and perfectly sweet. The ladyfingers soaked in coffee become a soft base that contrasts beautifully with the cream.
A timeless classic dessert, ideal to serve in a tray or as single portions. This version was prepared for us by Frau Knam, a passionate pastry chef who knows how to blend traditional recipes with haute cuisine techniques!
To prepare traditional tiramisu, start by making the pâte à bombe.
In a small saucepan, combine 80 g of sugar with 30 g of water.
Heat the syrup over low heat and, using a kitchen thermometer, monitor the temperature until it reaches 118°C.
