Traditional tiramisu

Recipe introduction

Tiramisu is undoubtedly one of the most beloved and appreciated desserts around the world, having inspired countless delicious variations, such as Tiramisu with cream. Its origins are uncertain and there are countless variations, but today we want to show you the basic recipe. Our traditional tiramisu has all the classic ingredients that are essential for this dessert: eggs, mascarpone, ladyfingers, and coffee. A simple recipe, both in preparation and flavor, that always wins everyone over. The secret? A dense and perfectly sweet mascarpone cream. The ladyfingers, soaked in coffee, become a soft base that perfectly contrasts the flavor of the cream. A timeless classic dessert, perfect served in a pan or as a single portion, prepared for us by Frau Knam, a passionate pastry chef who knows how to combine traditional recipes with haute cuisine techniques!

Procedure

To make traditional tiramisu, first make the pâte à bombe. Combine 80 g of sugar and 30 g of water in a small saucepan. Heat the syrup over low heat. Using a kitchen thermometer, monitor the temperature until it reaches 118°C.
