NUOVA LOFRA SRL AND WHISTLEBLOWING<\/strong>
To better protect its staff and collaborators, Nuova Lofra srl has established a procedure aimed at fully protecting those who report violations of national or European Union regulations that damage the public interest or the integrity of Nuova Lofra srl.<\/p>

WHAT IS WHISTEBLOWING?<\/strong>
Whistleblowing is the activity of regulating procedures aimed at encouraging and protecting whistleblower reports.
A whistleblower is someone who becomes aware of an illegal act or irregularity in the workplace, while carrying out their duties, and decides to report it to a person or authority who can take effective action in this regard, playing a role of private and public interest, making the company they work for or the community aware of problems or dangers.<\/p>

CAN I REPORT?<\/strong>
It depends, reports can be made by:
\u2022 employees and self-employed workers of Nuova Lofra srl;
\u2022 collaborators, freelancers, consultants of Nuova Lofra srl;
\u2022 volunteers, interns at Nuova Lofra srl;
\u2022 shareholders and persons with management, administration and control functions of the company.
The regulation also applies to reports of violations committed during an employment relationship that has subsequently ended, as well as to those whose employment has not yet begun, if information about the violations was acquired during the selection process or other pre-contractual phases.<\/p>

The protection provided for by Legislative Decree 10 March 2023, no. 24 will not apply to reports from third parties outside of Nuova Lofra srl.<\/p>

WHAT CAN I REPORT?<\/strong>
Legislative Decree 10 March 2023, n. 24 concerns reports relating to:<\/p>

\u2713 Administrative, accounting, civil or criminal misconduct.
\u2713 Violations in the areas of public procurement, services, products, and financial markets, as well as crimes related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
\u2713 Issues related to product safety and compliance, transport safety.
\u2713 Problems concerning environmental protection, radiation protection and nuclear safety.
\u2713 Risks to food and feed safety, animal welfare, public health and consumer protection.
\u2713 Violations of privacy, personal data management, and network and information system security.
\u2713 Actions or omissions that harm the financial interests of the Union, competition practices and State aid, as well as corporate tax issues.<\/p>

WHAT CAN'T I REPORT?<\/strong>
Disputes related to a personal interest of the whistleblower, which concern relationships, are excluded:<\/p>

\u2713 disputes, claims or requests related to a personal interest of the complainant;
\u2713 in matters of national defense and security;
\u2713 relating to violations already regulated in certain special sectors (financial services, prevention of money laundering, terrorism, transport safety, environmental protection).
\u2713 The legislation regarding classified information, medical and forensic secrecy, and decisions of judicial bodies remains in place.<\/p>

WHO WILL BE INFORMED OF MY REPORT?<\/strong>
In accordance with Article 4 of Legislative Decree 24\/2023, Nuova Lofra srl has entrusted management of the reporting system to an internal person specifically trained to manage the reporting channel and to an external collaborator who supervises the activity for your greater protection. Only the Reporting Managers appointed by Nuova Lofra srl will be aware of your report.<\/p>

CAN I REPORT ANONYMOUSLY?<\/strong>
Yes, it is possible to report anonymously, although knowing the whistleblower's identity simplifies internal investigations and allows for requests for clarification. Furthermore, only those who disclose their identity can benefit from the protection provided by Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019\/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law and laying down provisions regarding the protection of persons reporting breaches of national legislation.<\/p>

IF I QUALIFY, WHO WILL BE INFORMED OF MY IDENTITY?<\/strong>
Only those responsible for reporting will have access to your identity. Others will only be able to learn your identity with your explicit consent.<\/p>

WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES DO I HAVE REGARDING MY REPORT?<\/strong>
The primary responsibility is to provide truthful information, avoiding the use of offensive language and referring only to facts or circumstances relevant to the work context.<\/p>

WHEN CAN I EXPECT A RESPONSE?<\/strong>
You'll receive confirmation of receipt within 7 days of reporting. You'll receive a report on the outcome within 3 months of reporting.<\/p>

WHAT IF I DON'T GET ANY FEEDBACK?<\/strong>
If the above deadlines are not met, you can inform ANAC via the platform on the institutional website.<\/p>

HOW WILL MY DATA BE PROCESSED?<\/strong>
Your personal data must be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679, Legislative Decree no. 196 of July 29, 2003, as amended, as well as the opinions and provisions issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority. Personal data that is not clearly relevant to processing a specific complaint will not be collected or, if collected in error, will be immediately deleted. WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER MY REPORT?<\/strong>
The Reporting Officers will conduct appropriate investigations to ascertain the admissibility and veracity of the report.<\/p>

CAN RETALIATION OR ANY FORM OF REPATRIATION OCCUR BECAUSE OF MY REPORT?<\/strong>
The Company will not retaliate, except for bad faith or defamatory behavior. Please remember that in the event of retaliation and\/or reprisals, you can report it to the ANAC.<\/p>

HOW CAN I REPORT?<\/strong>
Nuova Lofra srl provides a reporting form and instructions, as well as privacy information. You can use the Trusty platform on the company website or submit the report by post.<\/p>

HOW THE ONLINE PLATFORM WORKS<\/strong>
The platform ensures confidentiality through encryption. You can report via the company website by filling out the fields and saving your credentials. The link is available at the bottom of this page.<\/p>
